Fuel gauge doesn't seem to want to let me know anything....which could turn out to be a small problem for me since my lazy @$$ doesn't like walking around with a gas can. The float is new and the connections on it are still nice and clean. I'm pretty sure the wiring is still solid, I think the problem is either corrosion on the gauge contacts, or a bad gauge. Any thoughts?

easily tested... crawl under the car (hard part) with a test lead. remove the plug from the sending unit, poke one end of your test lead into the boot, and attach the other end to a good ground. with the ignition on, this should show beyond full on the gauge. if not, your problem is either wiring, or the gauge. do the rest of your gauges work properly? if so, you can rule out the instrument voltage regulator.
