when i bought my 88 gt a few months back the gas guage never read right. it stays above full all the time , then sometimes drops to nothing and then goes back up. so i replaced the sending unit in the tank, still done it. so today i cut the wires from the sending unit and hooked an aftermarket guage up to it, and it worked right. a friend and i tested all the wires from the guage cluster plug to where i snipped the wires and all came back good. so then we moved on to the anti-slosh module and guage, and replaced them with another pair from a known working vehicle. after that little ordeal it still read the same as the old one, above full. so the only thing i can think of is that the printed circuit board on the back is messed up even though it looks good. anyone have any other ideas on what else it could be?
