Hey Guys,
I am in the process of swapping a new intake manifold onto my 92 5.0 and the mounting clip in the attached picture was attached to nothing when I removed the old intake manifold. It was just laying behind the intake manifold flopping around.

Before I got and install the new upper, I'd like to attach this back in its original location but I can't seem to figure out where that is. I've looked at a ton of pictures in other threads and I can't seem to figure it out. Anyone know where it goes? It appears to be a bracket the the fuel injector harnesses attach to.

Thanks!
John

On a stock intake the hook hangs on a lip of the upper intake manifold underneath the intake plaque. Most aftermarket uppers don't have a provision for the hook.

Well that makes sense. I was going crazy looking for something on the firewall.

Given that, do most people just let it sit loose behind an aftermarket manifold then?

What he said. I removed the clip from mine and tucked them down behind my Holley Systemax.
Can't even tell their back there.
