I have a 255lph in-tank fuel pump in my '95. Ever since the install, the car has been running insanely lean. My air/fuel ratio is about 19.7 to 1 (far from stoich). No matter what I do with my Aeromotive reg, this ratio stays about the same. It seems that my ECU is still under the impression that the pump is factory. Do I have to buy an aftermarket chip to address this issue? Or is there another way? Any help would be much appreciated.

19.7 is lean.....14.7 is idle 12 is perfect for WOT with S/C cars 12.5-13 with N/A

When I first installed my 302 my car ran wicked lean like that and I ended up fixing it with a Pro-m Maf and 24lb injectors..

19.7 is very lean, this cannot be good for your car. Also, as stated above, what are you using to gather this data?

I am using a computer-based diagnostic scope which is taking the reading directly from the tailpipe.

Go stick the scope up a different pipe to check it out.

Sounds nasty *** don't it
