Ok I finally got my return system done.(04 GT) I am using the ford gt pump with a T-rex BAP, I added a return port to the top of my fuel hat and I am using 98 GT fuel rails and regulator with 50lb injectors.
When I start the car now it runs SUPER rich, blasts smoke out the pipes etc. It wont idle but will start up and stay running as long as I hold the rpms around 800 rpm.
Im thinking that its either a tuning issue or maybe I need an adjustable regulator. If anybody has had this problem before and help would be appreciated.
Edit: I hooked up my fuel pressure gauge, sending unit for the gauge is on the return line after the regulator, and it is reading 0-5psi when the pumps are turned on. So maybe the regulator isnt working properly?
