That is a bad kink!! The tube is plastic and shouldn't be like that... looks like someone moved it for some reason. It needs put back where it belongs to straighten out that kink, then held there with a bracket. I don't think it's permanent or damaged the plastic line, but I would keep an eye on it anyway. How long has it been this way? I'm suprised the car has been running right without getting good fuel flow...I'll bet it's been leaning out at high rpms though.
Mine has rubber lining on it now, I cut that plastic crap off and just ran some good fuel injection hose line from Napa. Its thicker and don't seem to do what your problem is at all. And its a lot easier to disconnect than those damn so called "quick connect" pieces of crap..
Looks like it's the return line. If it's the smaller of the two lines you may be able to get away with putting some fuel line in place of it.
I just replaced my fuel lines. I did it with no rear, exhaust or trans in the car. With them in, it's a huge PITA.
You could always try to hold it externally with heat shrink or some sort of clamp so that it maintains it's shape
Well looks like its been kinked long enough to where that plastic line is not gonna go back to shape. I straightened it out as best i could and ziptied it but it's still kinked.
I see no easy way to replace that line either... just continues waaaay back as far as I can tell. Looks like the plastic is formed over the metal, I am not sure how to replace just that section. Fuel pressure is where it should be but I get a lean pop through the intake sometimes as I take off from a stop light, I wonder if this is the cause..
So then you just slipped rubber fuel line hose over the metal and used hose clamps or what? I'd be worried that might leak at some point...

It's straight now, but it still is kinked, the plastic wont go back to its original shape.
There has to be a way to repair the line, I am just not familiar with exactly what the proper way to do it is.
Could someone go out to their car and take a look underneath at their high pressure fuel line on the passenger side near the swaybar mount.
I am changing bushings and noticed it looks kinked. Is this normal?

i have a 88 stang my high pressure fuel line is leaking can u use high pressure hose n clamps can not find the right fitting for the high pressure fuel line
