I was thinking about running hardline (stainless steel) for my fuel system. Mainly because it is considerably cheaper. But I was wondering what the downsides are, because I know everyone runs the stainless AN hoses for fuel systems. I was going to run a stainless 10an line from my cell to the pump (because I already have this hose), and then run 3/8 hardline throughout the rest of the system. WOuld this be alright, or are there any particular negatives for hardline? Let me know, thanks!

The only real negative for hard line is that it's a lot more work to install - bending, flaring, all that. Once it's installed, though, it's really the best thing you can use.

use hardline from tank to pump, then braided line from pump to engine. I use hard line as much as possible, its more durable and much safer, plus it looks cleaner when properly done.

Hardline is much better. More durable, doesnt crack and looks really clean when done right, But it take longer the bending and flaring, to get it just right. You should be good to go with that set up.
