I'm running really low on my pressure gauge, Just put it in, along with a kirban regulator. How do I adjust it properly, and does tightening the nut give more pressure, or less?

If you tighten the screw it will increase fuel pressure. The nut locks the adjuster screw in place once the fuel pressure is set.

So its the screw that adjusts the fuel pressure, not the nut?

Correct. The nut just locks the setting in place.

Ok, I think I just broke my FPR, I had it set, then tightened the nut, and now the screw is loose, and just turns. It doesn't tighten.

Well to answer the original question: Set your FP (I have a Kirban also) when the car is at operating temp (warm)/at idle/ and with the red vaccum line disconnected from the regulator with something plugging the hose hole...and turn the "long" stud (black) sticking up...turn it clockwise to turn FP up...and counterclockwise to turn it down...and then tighten the nut at the bottom of the stud just about "hand tight"...so it isn't enough to break anything and just enough so vibrations don't cause it to lose the setting...

Adjust in 2lb increments and drive it and see what drives the best and provides good power...

Well check for cracks or broken threads (from the nut or stud)...but just confirm it is broke before buying another one...they are fairly cheap though as you know...to replace...

Good Luck with it and I hope it isn't broke...little things like that stress me out...
