Hey guys I have a 1986 5.0 (with efi). Anyways i bought the car with the issue of it running rich and I'm still having that issue. Come to find out its pushing 55 psi of fuel pressure at the rail. The car currently has stock injectors but I found 30lb/hr injectors in the back of the car. Long story short what's the fuel pressure I need (i think 38-40...?) And how do I get it there? TLTR Fuel pressure too high how do I lower it to correct pressure.

What fuel regulator are you running?

The stock fuel pressure (5.0L V8) is approximately 39-40 psi at idle with the vacuum line disconnected from the fuel pressure regulator. With the vacuum line connected, it typically drops to around 30-35 psi due to the vacuum reducing the pressure. Always verify with a fuel pressure gauge for accuracy.
