Fuel Pressure regulator gasket?

there is supposed to be an orange o-ring i believe. i coudl be wrong cause its been awhile but when you take off your stock one, you are supposed to keep the rubber o-ring cause i heard its like $6 or something for a new one.

Orange o-ring? There were only the 2 o-rings on the stocker and the Aeromotive came with new ones.

well i have a kirban and they said to reuse the o-ring from the stocker. basically put that over the "stem" of the regulator that went into the fuel line then screwed down the bolts. hasnt leaked a bit. dunno if it has a built-in gasket or what but the kirban didnt use one at all

So like this?

god..i cant remember to last summer so hopefully someone else chimes in but i think that center post (you have those 2 other rings on right of course :) ) needs to have that extra (i swear it was orange) ring and it lays right into that middle opening of the fuel line. like i said, hopefully someone that has done it recently can confirm that

hmmm....i wanna say its a different size than the other 2. if i didnt have to work in 30 min, id pop mine off and check but i gotta get ready now. if you dont figure it out by tomorrow, ill definately take mine off and see what you might be missing. g'luck until then

you are missing an o-ring that sits in the fuel rail. they tend to fall out when you remove the stocker. it is probably sitting on top of the lower intake manifold.

Thats what happened when I replaced mine. Sprayed a mist of fuel everywhere. Lucky I didnt have a fire :(

Alright guys, I got it figured out. I went to AutoZone and got a FPR o-ring kit and it came with this little gasket. I put the o-rings in and it still leaked so I tried it with the gasket and the leaks were gone! Finally!

I had a fire 2 weekends ago because of this. It wasnt pretty! but lucky it didnt scorch anything too bad. I thought it was the injectors leaking but after I pulled the rail it was the FPR.

I finally got my car started with the FTI/AFR/Edelbrock combo! WOW! it sounds mean.~
