Fuel pressure regulator location...

...with aftermarket rails. Where do you all have your aftermarket FPR located? i dunno where to mount mine i know you can't have it on the firewall

most that i've seen are on the firewall or on the fenderwell.

Why can't you have it on the firewall? I'd go with the fenderwell, but I dont' see why you couldn't do it on the firewall. but then again I definitely don't know everything.

Odd. I've never heard of that before. First time for everything I imagine. I would check with local performance shops and or the track and ask.

i thought i remember someone telling mike (sirsureshot) that his regulator would not be track legal because he had it mounted on the firewall. i could be wrong, but i'll ask around

I use aftermakret rails and an aeromotive fpr, I mounted it right next to the gas cannister on the passenger front framerail.

that's kinda...far away i wonder if i could mount it on the engine somehow so i dont have lines all over

no fuel regulator or distribution block within six inches of front of firewall..nhra general rules. If youa rent track worried then mount it on firewall. Mount it on fender well. dont go behind louvers in firewall as this would put it behind firewall and is def not track legal.

i found out it's 6" forward from the flywheel is legal

exactly...firewall and flywheel reference usually same point. but yeah 6" forward of flywheel/flexplate..
