Well, I bought it, and I stopped to pick up the correct alan tip, and it was then that I noticed the screws are run in from the bottom.

91 T-bird,
Anyone have any methods for changing one?
Looks to me like I have to pull the upper intake and disconnect the fuel rail from the lower intake. Is that about the size of it?
If so that blows.
I checked the tranny fluid on my grandmothers taurus when I got home, and noticed that her fuel pressure regulator is perched right on the front of the engine, with a QUICK DISCONNECT. Looks like a 3 minute job on the 98 Taurus.

On the t-bird it looks like a weekend long top end tear down.

Thanks Ford.

Hehe. It drives great. In a day or two when she get's herself figured out, I bet it'll be quite powerful. I stomped on it at like 50 and it kicked down to second, and I swear I heard a "chirp" which is previously unseen in this car.
