I'm curious about a fpdm? Im trying to do a single to dual fuel pump swap. Do I need a fpdm? Do I need two of them? Where do I buy one or both? Anything else that I need to know?
Might be handy to mention the model year of your car when asking for help.
However, on the 2003-2004 Cobra there is a SINGLE FPDM. Remember that the FPDM and the PCM actually exchange information, then it makes sense there couldn't be two FPDM.
It's certainly possible that the FPDM is heavy duty compared to the GT.
There are differences in the Cobra's wiring to take into account the extra power that the Cobra's fuel pump requires. For example, the IFS cutoff is wired into the coil of the CCRM fuel pump relay. Where as the IFS switch is in-line for the GT/V6.
My car is a 2000 roush. I've read recently that they use a second fpdm when adding dual supercharge pumps. Ill research more. If anyone has done this before please chime in!
