I have the svt focus pump now and its basically maxxed out almost at 400rwhp I can see. If I want to make alot more like 500-600rwhp. Those cobra pumps/tank are good for like 500 but if you get a BAP, I guess around 600. Is there any pump I can just get to put in my GT tank that will handle alot of hp? Cobra pumps/tank seem like $800. Anything cheaper? Dont i need to upgrade fuel rails also and get 60lb injectors, since 42lbs handle what like 500?. What do people do, does everyone get the cobra setup for a GT? I would think I need a BAP also.

I still have the stock Cobra pumps w/BAP set at 30%, and I am only seeing 80% duty cycle @ WOT. I am right at the 600hp level, so I say that combination will work for you just fine. I maxed out my stock injectors (39#) at about 490 hp, so if you plan on going above 500, then I would say you are looking for AT LEAST 55# injectors.

Is a BAP hard to install, I dont understand anything. I plan on going above 500. Isnt 60lb injectors on the street for daily driving alot of gas wasted and hard to drive meaning bad dd. How do you install this BAP. Why cant there be anything cheaper, that means I need cobra tank/pumps and BAP, I have a GT, this is so pathetic. Why cant I have something work in my GT tank.

The BAP is easy to install. The directions are very specific. 60# injectors are not a "waste" of gas during regular driving. You cars ECU has set values that cause the injectors to "squirt" a given amount during different throttle / engine load combinations. As far as anything being "Cheaper", no offense bro, but you are in the wrong hobby if you are worried about things being cheap. Speed costs money. Live with it or go get yourself a civic or something.

The only time larger injectors "waste" fuel is if the tune is incorrect or if the injecotrs are way oversized for the car at very very low pulse width injectors become inefficent. in dan's car the injectors he is using is the right size for his setup, to us they seem huge but they are not inneffecent in his setup.

Plus you have to remember a car with 500-600 HP is not goign to be good on fuel or that easy to tune, so don't expect stock mileage or driveability.

thats amazing.. but in general don't expect that. a 600 HP gt will not drive or get the mileage of a 260 gt.. that you get that kind of driveability shows how bad ass the terminators really are..

Alot of it has to do with the SCT BA2400 and the SCT software kicking total ass. Find a really good tuner and he can work MAGIC with that stuff.

yeah a good tuner is all the difference, but when you have 4v heads and a good blower that sure helps. a 2v has to be more of a radical setup to make 600 hp than a terminator has to be.

i don't know....look at what Tim @ MPH has been doing......I think he's somewhere north of the 800 hp level with some of his supercharged 2V combos. Someone correct me if I am wrong.....

granted, it costs a WHOLE LOT more to get there with a 2V setup....

I know you CAN build a 2v to make that kind of power. What I mean is a 4v does not have to run as radical of a setup to do it.. what I mean is driveability will be better in the 4v.

I have driven a 570+ HP KB supercharged 03 cobra and it drove great durring normal driving. I can't speak for the mileage or cold weather or any of that stuff since I only drove it for about 20 minutes.

who wouldn't, ha.

what's even more impressive is how CLEAN his car is & how the drivablility is on it. about every other time i'm down there he rolls up, he drives it all the time. & for another comparison, jfitz drives his EVERYWHERE. tim has these big power cars down to a science

yeah MPH seems to have the hot hand in modulars right now. well if those cars are doing that well on the street driveablity wise then thats awsome.
