Hi I'm new the site and I really need some help. I have a 1991 5.0 and I did some work on the passenger strut tower. I welded the frame since it was rusted out. I had the battery unhooked. I drove the car about 3 days after I had fixed it. Now my fuel relays click as soon as I turn the key to on.
The relays click really fast at first causing my fuel pump to turn on and off really fast too. Then after about 4 seconds the fuel relay underneath the seat just clicks on and off slowly.
I put a brand new fuel pump in it and a new coil pack, new distributer cap and roatary button. New ignition control module and replaced both fuel relays and the symptoms are the same. I get fuel up to rail but I don't know the pressure but it sprays out pretty hard from the shrader valve. I've checked the inertia switch and it seems to working properly. I'm all out of ideas has anyone else had this problem before?
