I'll try to keep this short as possible. This is on my 90 LX. As of recently I have been having problems with my car not wanting to start at times, usally in the morning when it's cool, say around 50 deg. The fuel pump was not priming, but it seems that once the air temp would warm up, the pump primes & the car starts. I noticed that the relay was not clicking when this occured. I checked the inertia switch & found that it had been bypased by the previous owner. So today I replaced the relay and it still wouldn't prime. I tried trouble shooting the wiring & everthing seemed ok. This is where it gets bad.... During the pluging in & un-pluging the new relay, testing with the multi meter, & turning the ign. on and off the pump started running & wouldn't turn off. I tried disconecting & reconecting the relay but the pump still continued to run. Then, out of the blue, the relay just stoped working altogether. I reinstaled the original, which to my suprise, decided to work again.... the problem is that even though I hear it clicking, the fuel pump does not do any thing.
If any one has any advice or a similar experience I would truly apreciate any info that could help. Thanks...
