when driving my 84, sometimes the gas gauge will just drop, even if i have a full tank. im thinking that a ground may be loose somewhere? anyone have any ideas where too look?

ok, so it slipped my mind that my battery is relocated...directly over the sending unit for the gas tank...but, since all my trim is currently out, i did notice a ground coming out a few inches to the drivers side of the hatch's striker bolt...maybe ck that one, there's another one farther up the harness under the left side interior qtr panel trim...(yes the big one) there's a coule there right over the wheel well...if its farther up than that, it'll probably be in your dash-maybe the plugs that go into your cluster are a little dirty....
