Fuel tank leaking after removal

I changed the fuel pump on my son's V-6. At the first fill up we noticed it was leaking at the point there the filler hose/tube inserts into the tank. Looks like there was some type of sealer there originally. Question: what type of sealant should I use? Any help will be appreciated.

it's where the filler neck connects with the rank right??? if so there is a gasket that they sell through ford that goes there
