They really like the Explorers over here now
And I live in soccermom hell so they blend in pretty good over here
That's prolly why they are switching over
They are tired of getting run over by the suburbanhousewives in their sport-utes talking on their cell phones

Out here in Phx i've seen some new F150's unmarked. Its pretty funny driving next to one and have someone go flying past him and then the whole damn truck lights up and takes off. Pretty amazing sight to see.

Back when I drove a truck I came up on a State Roads truck along the interstate...You know the ones where all the guys are leaning on shovels and stuff...Only one guy leaning on the shovel and the bugger had a radar gun in his hand...Chase cars were on down the road...

Could be entrapment, depending on how you look at it. Still a neat story, as long as it was a GTP and not a Mustang.

I thought entrapment for a minute also but if the z28 didn't launch with the GTP then it isn't. Along with a couple other factors also.

SC has several NICE BMW's patrolling I-85 thanks to the BMW plant in Spartanburg, SC.

Also, I had a friend (more like moron) race a Camaro in his mom's Eagle Talon...heh...cop followed him up to about 75 MPH...pulled him, basically called the kid a F*ing moron...let him off with a warning.

Anyway, no offense to cops (certainly more than a handful post in this forum - I bought my '93 from a cop) - but they already have nice radar and motorollas, which beats anything that any of us could build...so they need to stick to their Vics.
