How much money do you want to spend? What do you want out of the car? Does it have to pass emissions? What kind of gas do you want to run? Daily driver or track car? How many cubes do you want?

You have decide all that before you just start piecing together a bunch of parts. All those questions should narrow you down to motor size, and parts that you could use on the motor.

Why do you only want to use Ford parts? If you do, they will limit the power you will make.

I second this opinion. There are some components that Ford amesk great parts, but there are a ton of other things where othger aftermarket companies make a lot pf products superior to Fords.

A few examples:
Heads (AFR, TFS, Edelbrock, etc)
Short-Block (CHP, DSS, Bennet, etc)
MAF (C&L, Pro-M)

The list goes on....

Just my thoughts.

And to echo what Joe said, you also need to have a good idea of what you want to do with your car, as it will greatly influence your decisions.

Whatever you do, do tons of research, take your time, and don't get discouraged, stangnet is always here to help
