My wonderful girlfriend, Jewls, is giving my a G-Tech Pro RR for a birthday present. I think it'll be a fun 'toy' to play with. But I'm not going to cast the results in stone.
I've never had one of these, but from what I've read and heard, the latest versions are fairly accurate. Most guys who run there's at the track say it's accurate less than .1 seconds to what the time slips say.
I think the key to using it is consistancy. Keep on level ground, not a lot of bumps, good mount, and it should give fairly accurate 60 ft, 0-60, 1/8. 1/4, etc times.
Like I said, it's more of a toy and a check to see if a mod made any improvement. I think having the same driver on same stretch of road everytime may help in consistency.
Anybody use one of these? Opinions?
