RULES: list you car, production date, trans, problems fixed, problems waiting to be fixed, and problems caused by you or others.

ill start:

car: 05 gt, manual trans, 10/04

problems fixed: low note horn replaced, windshield wiper motor replaced, front end tsb done, fuel tank tsb, tranny bolts tsb,

problems waiting to be fixed: front end squeeks after tsb, fuel tank hard to fill AGAIN, rear end axle whine, "knocking sound" around 2500 rpms when accelerating, tranny chatter when you hit bumps in the road or hard accelleration, grinds gears intermittently--even with clutch pedal fully to the floor, horn sounds funny intermittently, brakes squeek.

problems caused by me or others: dealership damaged spare tire well and over the axle pipes and mufflers (during fuel tank tsb--which took 75 days to resolve), fuel gauge stopped working after fuel tank tsb, dog jumped through my open window into my car and scratched my door, probably some i'm leaving out....

Only thing I have is a rear axel whine when turning at slow speeds. It may not actually be a problem, but it is annoying at times. Has anyone else experienced this?

car: 05 gt, manual trans, 11/04

problems fixed: front strut bearings replaced twice, front end tsb done, fuel tank tsb, tranny bolts replaced, orange peel (I fixed), rail dust (I fixed)

problems waiting to be fixed: fuel tank hard to fill AGAIN, grinds gears between 2nd + 3rd intermittently, brake squealing, leather keep coming undone from bottom of passenger seat, skipping shaker, shaker doesn't read some CD's

problems caused by me or others: scratched dashboard plastic with open umbrella (my fault), rock chip in windshield on WAY HOME FROM DEALER AFTER PURCHASE ( truck's fault), usual beauty mark paint chips in front and on hood, nick in paint above rear wheel (maybe another car, maybe a rock), wiper arm bent (ex g/f closed the garage door by accident)

come to think of it, rocks seem to be the worst enemy of my car

Fixed already: two shakers, ABS modulator out at 2.5k, front windshield just before delivery, TCS out with modulator, couple of raddles by beating crap out of dash
Need fixed: Another shaker(this one must be telepathic the way it tells me brand new discs are bad) , couple more raddles, squeeky brakes( brembo probably), rock chips :damnit: ,
Not my fault: windshield (some porter on delivery day), 20inch rim(popeyes chicken curb ), coke in the back seat (4yr. old)

Still lovin every minute of it
"On the seventh day he rested, on the following monday he created the mustang and said it was good, so it was"

thats what mine says too. even with all the problems, i still love my car. i thought about trading it for an 06 gt vert, but decided thats a waste of money. better off waiting and TRYING to get a shelby. when i saw the 05's, i said im gonna get one of them. in january, i did. then i saw the shelby, and said im gonna get me one of them. when they come out, i will.

What's this about the fuel tank? I had an odd experience after meeting up with Johnny Law. I went to fill up my tank and pump would stop like it was full over and over again. Took forever of manually "topping off" to fill up

thats the problem. if you search for the tsb, i think it is for cars built before April, but not sure on the exact date. if you continue to have the problem, and decide to get it fixed, have them make sure to have a tank protector redily available. most people have been breaking them when they remove them. when i got my tank done, it took about a month for it to show up....

this is my 1st replacement tank, and it is starting to do it again, so i guess we are playing russian roullette...

Car: 05 v6 vert

Problem: Leaking leading to pooling of water in wells below back seat that wicks up through seat causing wet leather and wet seats of the passenger.

Fix: Entire vert top is being replaced as we speak. I just bought it a few weeks ago, so this is a bit frustrating to be wihout so soon.

05 GT Vert; prod date: 05-05; 1400 miles

Manuf problems: electric window drive replaced

Dealer problems: ordered spoiler delete, but it came w/ spoiler; dealer tried to force me to take it, but they did the right thing--spoiler gone now

Many pleasant surprises; very few unpleasant surprises; the car gets better looking the longer I live w/ it.

Tuesday build

I only had the TSB on the front struts. My car was built on a Tuesday, guess everyone was awake on the assembly line that day.

Car: 05 V6 Manual

Problems fixed: Fuel Tank TSB, carpet missing adhesive on driver's floor board, passenger door not closing properly causing gouge in striker.

Problems current: Driver drop glass catches on moulding (Ford says is normal), harness missing appropriate wiring behind center console (Ford says is normal), clutch is very squeaky, fuel tank not filling at each pump AGAIN.

Problems caused by me: Didn't check to make sure every wire was present on the vehicle before I took delivery.

Don't worry, the only leather in your car is the one covering your arse or your front passenger arse all the rest is just vinyl. :damnit:
