damnit, my car is getting like 10-12 mpg. there is definitly something wrong with that. whats u guys's average mpg? ive changed my fuel filter, my air filter, and changed the oil. any suggestions?
check spark plugs and see how the gap is on them i replaced my plugs at 45k the stock ones and they were terrible.i put some copper plugs in even thought they last about 10k they ran smoother.
if you've done any exhaust mods this will sometimes throw off your air to fuel mix. my gas mileage was horrible after intake headers, offroad xpipe and flowmasters. after i bought my diablo chip i REALLY noticed a difference in gas mileage.
again though, this is a rather expensive way if you haven't done many mods to your exhaust. try driving a little easier on your car or maybe even a throttle body spacer. they aren't "heaven sent" by any means but they do help a little.
i get 22~ with all my mods city/highway mix you sure your doing it right? fill all the way up drive till light comes on then take the amount you put back in it to fill it up and divide that by the milage you went on that tank (or the other way around) i go 290 from fill up till empty.
