yes its really simple. take a look on AM's website they have install instructions on how to put in overlays and one the things that has to be removed is that lense.
I know how to do that. I want to seperate the clear lens from the black part. They are bonded together. I have 2 of them and am wanting to make one good one. The lens is scratched on one, and the black part is messed up on the other.
I've cracked it trying once, but you could get a dremel and cut the black piece in sections and try to snap off the sections. I'd just buy a new one. I got a 35th anniversay one for $18 at the dealer back in the day for my 99 mustang
