my girlfriends 2000 v-6 5 speed mustang's cluster is acting up. the mileage area keeps going blank,and coming back on,no rime or reason as to why. question is, does the computer hold the actual miles,or does the cluster? can we buy another cluster and install,and the mileage be right? or will the mileage be off,and is there any other problems with switching the cluster? i know some cars have to be programmed to the cluster. thanks alot.
