Gear Install...????

i found his write up about installing gears in a mustang, it seems to be fairly simple by the way they described the install, and i have access to all of the tools mentioned in the article. i have the set of ford racing 4.10's sitting in the basement waitng for a new home in my rear end. i am just wondering is it really as easy as it sounds? i plan on using the method described in the write up to setup the pinion shims. i have plenty of spare time since my motor blew anyway so i figure its a good time to start? do i need anything besides the gears, crush sleeve, shim kit, and rtv, to do the swap? any more info is great. thanks
