[98 mustang]

looking for some help !!!

I am driving a 98 mustang Gt with 4:10 gears and my speedometer is off ( if i am going 50km/h it says i am doing 50m/h) someone told me that there are different colour gears(speedo gears or something) that you can get to fix it anyone know what one i need. your help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they are like $100 or so. Make sure you get the ER (extended range) version

or you can get urself a handheld tuner as well and make a few more horse power as well as fix the speedo

Handheld tuner won't do ***** for a 98 speedo. I purchased a Speedcal for my 98GT and could not be happier. Actually installed it 2 weeks before the gear swap and it was accurate with both settings. I thought about changing the gear on the tailshaft, but it looked to be a PITA because you have to split the case (T45). Been a mechanic for 22 years and the costs was definitely cheaper for the Speedcal (your time is worth something)!
