For sending power to the wheels, would it benefit me to get a new flywheel?? I was wondering, cuz mines in decent shape and can be cut fine, but should i just get a new lighter weight one?? Or should i just save 290 dollars and spend 30 on getting it cut lol (those figures i dont know but..)

There are many other cheaper ways to make up what you would get from the flywheel savings IMHO. Esp considering that your car does not seem to have been super modded yet (where you would be scraping for things to do).

I would resurface it and spend the money saved on some other stuff. Others might feel differently.

Good luck.

yea maybe i'll get it cut, but what do you mean by super modded... should i just save that money for a charger?? I'd love to super charge it, but this is a mod that i'd like to do while the engine is out of the car (the flywheel) I have the H/C/I set up, would u consider that super modded or no?

if you didnt have anything else that you could possibly do to your car except go with a lightweight flywheel to get extra horsepower is what he meant i think
Yeppers. Paul, at this point, IMHO, there are other items you can install which have more 'bang for the buck'. That is what I meant.

Good luck.

IMO, flyweels are good for a maximum of 2 passes on the resurfacing machine before being replaced. Of course, let you local machinst check it out for condition prior to resurfacing.

yea my pop said it was def still good, but i was just wondering - what are the other bang for the buck extras i could add - heres what i have so far

that's literally ALL the mods - I have no others, but some ppl told me i'm not gonna make even 250 horses, and i know thats bull****, but some ppl told me i'm gonna make well over 300, and thats kinda sketchy as well, i should be makin like 290 hopefully, with all this work time n money, i'll be pissed if it's not 290
So what bang for the buck items are left

thats a nice list of mods....
do you have gears yet??
if not use the money for gears, if you have gears....get a short throw shifter.

getting a new flywheel isnt a bad idea, you'd be setting youself up for the future whenever you make LOTS of power, but i dont think its necessary at this point. you have lots of stuff to do before you will be "scraping" for mods.

i say just get it resurfaced and call it a day :)
