ok what i am wondering is either doing a t-56 swap and changing my 3.70's to 4.11's or doing cams, full exhaust, and 4.11's and maybe tb and plenum

What kind of power does ur car make? By ur sig, the motor is stock........... Scrap the 9 inch and big ass 35 spline axles. Put an 8.8 back in it and 31 spine (28 would honsetly work) and loose a lot of rotating mass.....

But since u ask, I'd do the 4.11's save for power mods.

well the 9 in. is in there for future mods, and my 8.8 nuked itself and they wanted just as much for a 8.8 as a 9 in. and the tranny has been freshened up and only has around 6.5k miles on its since. my biggest worry is ive heard that the spec clutch's will snap the imput shaft when launching it hard on slicks or d.r. because of their clamping force.

no i gotta 9 in. not an 8.8, so for your 3.73's i got 3.70's and for your 4.10's i got 4.11's

the t56 is great but with a freshened up tranny that you already have just go cams...you'll like it waaay better than the t56..plus people will know you have cams...no one knows i have a 6 speed unless i tell them or shift into 6th while driving....

plus the t56 weighs more soooo......

i just passed up a $1200 t56 from a cobra with the xmember w/ only 6,000 miles on it... ugh

just had to be realistic, ive got a lot of other stuff i want to do to the car... so im gonna wait and use my horrid 3650 with the huge gap in 4-5...

plus its just crazy to be swapping transmissions, the car has 50k and ive owned it for exactly 2.5 months hahaha.... although it is something i would do..

the t56 wont neccesarily warrant taller gear ratios... if you like the ratio you currently ave, stick with it... the t56 has the same 6th gear ratio as the 3650's 5th gear... just a ew rato between 1:1 and .67:1 ... unless of course you go for the .5 OD

i say performance... the driveabiity bonus of the t56 is great... but im gonna get my car a little past stock before i try to warrant the bragging rights of a t56 swap

well one of the main reasons for me wanting a t-56 is because of the gear ratio's from 1st-3rd, i figure the 2.97 first with 4.11's would give a good ratio with a centri blower, and 2nd and 3rd gears would help keep it in the torque curve better. but i talked with the guy from hitech motorsports last night for about 45 minutes on their stage 2's and will be putting a set of those on there. he also suggested for mid pipe and long tubes to go with MAC. i haven't used them or know of anyone that has, so any imput on those would be nice. as far as the rest of the exhaust is concerned im goin with magnapacks

The MGW is awesome! I love mine. Very short shifts and the centering spring is tight enough to where you will probably hardly ever miss third. In the 2 years i've had mine i can only think of one time i've missed third. It make driving so much more enjoyable
