Im looking to get a custom license plate and personalizing the characters...

Seeing as I lost my sister on 9/11 I am definitely getting this tag design...

But for the tag # I am considering

"VAPRN20" or "N20VAPR"

I wish I could get "N20VAPOR" but it's 1 character too long. Was also considering "N20 FTW"

Thoughts? Suggestions?

N2O is the molecular formula for nitrous oxide, two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

The 2 should actually be lower for it to read correctly. I think few people will understand what you are trying to say on the plate.

More often than not, a car enthusiast is going to know what N20 stands for. I dont care if the average person knows what it means.

I had some clue what N20 meant, but I still could not really decipher the plate. I thought it was something about the vapors from Nitrous gas. I see a lot of custom plates that are hard to understand because you have to remove so many letters. I say keep it simple and go with "VAPOR" or "N-2-O" or "N20-FTW". Can you do less than six letters?

I believe I can do between 4 and 7.

I'd feel dumb as **** if I lost to a turbo car with "N20 FTW" on my tag Like "N20 FTL" lol.

I dunno need to think about it some more.

I understood them! Awesome theme to get for your Sis! Sorry to hear!
There was a guy in high school that had "ALL BTTL" on his notchback and many people would back down because of the plate...he had no N2O on the car at all! Only mods were full exhaust, springs, shifter and 4.10s

Few of my ideas:
ON JUICE
281&N2O
GOT N2O

If you don't know what N2O is, you should probably be driving a Prius or Insight.

anti - I debated my plate for a long time too. I knew the plate type (also a 911 rememberence)and I wanted it to go with the theme planned which was eleanorish. So rather than spell out eleanor, I had to shorten it to 6 letters that the specialized plate allows.

My suggestion, don't over think it. If you come across hard core enthusiasts, they'll nail it every time. The average traveller will be none the wiser, even if you explain it.

The problem is chemical formulas are not all perfectly aligned. The 2 should be below the letters.
I have 26 college hours in chemistry and know what the formula is for. N2O doesn't look like a chemical formula to me. Just my opinion.
