Getting a PO Box for emissions

From the DOL website:

Required address information
Washington residents are now required by law to have their primary residence street address on their vehicle’s registration record. You may also indicate an alternate mailing address.

You must provide this information when you change your address unless you meet one of the following exceptions:

You are overseas military with an APO/FPO address.
USPS mail delivery is not available at your primary residence street address.
You are not a Washington resident but your vehicle must be registered in Washington state.
You are on active duty military and your home of record is Washington state, but you are currently in another state or jurisdiction.

I think the key is changing your driver's license to match the registration. They cannot prove where you actually sleep.

After seeing the writing on the wall last year, I just bought an older Fox that did not need to go through emissons anymore.

Thanks for the responses. I've made quite a few posts here regarding emissions, and as you can see I'd rather chew on razor blades than have to troll through junk yards for emission parts while my new heads/cam/intake sits on the bench. All that work just to take it all back off-

Thanks

depending on your setup, its usaly pretty easy to pass emissions pre OBDII cars with zero emissions equipment.

keep that in mind

so naturally, i had to take advantage of this situation and buy his 89 :)

the car is still holding up well, and the money is accumulating in my bank account for a couple more goodies that should be on the car by the middle of summer....
