Getting Dyno Tuned Today..........

Ok boys.........the moment of truth has arrived. The Snake is out, and going for a dyno tune today. Here's all shes got:

04 Cobra
2.2 Kenne Bell @ 17lbs of boost
60# Injectors
SCT BA2400 MAF
BAP
Catted Prochamber
Magnaflow catback
K&N FIPK

Thats about it for power mods. Took her to a dyno this past tuesday, and the #'S were 534hp and 467tq to the wheels. The tune I am running is a safe mail order tune to get me the 120 miles to the tuner. Timing was only set @ 17-19, so I know the #'s are going up. Any guesses at what the tuner will be able to unlock? Wish me luck! Results to come tonight when I get home.

I was thinking more along the lines of 570-580hp and around 510-520tq. We shall see.............

ridiculous dude. Where do you get your car tuned? I'm a fellow New Englander (Mass), I'd like to put my car up on a dyno sometime at a place with a good reputation.

Just got my dyno tune thursday at Dez Racing in Seakonk,MA. He only deals with mustangs and knows his stuff. www.dezracing.com (508)-336-6588

the results.......551hp, and 500tq to the wheels. 20 degrees of timing, A/f 11.9 across the board. I am still running the stock TB and inlet tube, so I KNOW there is alot more in her. Over all I am very happy. Tune was done by Pete @ performance dyno in NH. I have been dealing with him for a few years now, and he really knows his stuff. Great guy!!

I'm done for this season. I need to make sure the rest of the driveline lives through the summer before beefing up the power anymore. To be honest, this is WAAAAAAAAY too much power for the street. More then you could ever need. The damn car drives like a dream now.......even better then when I drove her off the dealer lot when it had 2 miles on the clock. You'd never know you had 550+ hp and 500 tq under your foot until you matted it. Drivability is amazing!
