I have a 2000 Mustang GT Convertible. I was wondering if the ghosted in pony's/mustang's are factory or something added by previous owners. I have them on both sides on the front quarter panel just above the GT badges. You can not even notice them to look at the side of the car. I only noticed them while waxing the car. Just curious and would appreciate any feed back. They are a very neat detail and just wondering what years they are on if any?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Got any pictures? Sounds like it was something the previous owner put on...definitely not a factory thing.

I'll take some pictures and see if they show up. They are very subtle. But I will do my best. I worry that they are part of a repaint that is tied to something bigger.

Pictrue of Ghost Pony.

Ok, Finally got the car out of storage and here is a Picture. I hope is shows up. If you look close enough to the left side of the picture you should be able to make out one of the pony's. These are a very very neat detail. But I have no idea what they are from. Let me know if anyone else has them. I'll try to get a couple more pictures up and better quality.

Looks like the previous owner had a decal of the pony and removed it when they sold it?

Whatever the reason behind it, It looks cool. I'm guessing the surface is smooth when you run your fingers over it??
