I know more than most, I have recently gotten into football (Last two years) so I am still learning. I am originally from the Jersey Area and pretty much a lot of us love the Giants. I can't help it. Though the pats are a good team, I just don't like them

Since you are new to following the NFL let me tell you how football fans handle this.

You too now have to fight to the death with dinner forks on live webcam..

I have 50 bucks on redline..

Sorry for the late update. What a stinker. The Giants offensive coordinator, Kevin Gilbride needs to speak to Buddy Ryan again. With the cold and high winds, Gilbride's gameplan was to try and have the Giants set a record for pass attempts in a game. He should be shot. If Coughlin has to go to rid the team of this tool, so be it.

Eli made some bad throws where I thought he should have had much better touch since this is his 4th season. However, there were 9 official dropped passes and probably 3 more they "let slide".

The offense is certainly not ready for the playoffs. A major change in game planning will be required for someone to use Jacobs or whomever and the running game to establish the offense and pepper it with play action where Eli does well.

****************************************************************
Look for this! -->
Sunday's game against the Bills may contain a plethora of very bad calls - all going in the Bills favor. Why? 2 reasons. The Giants have always been the recipient of phantom calls at the worst possible time. Moreover, if the zebras can get the Giants to lose this game, the playoffs will not be guarenteed and the Giants will HAVE TO play the starters for week 17 against the Pats. The Giants will have to play against the Bills and refs this weekend for sure.

Giants desperatly need to win this one and rest guys like Plax during the Pats game. Need to heal up wounds as best as possible in an effort to win a playoff game.

That's OK. You would jump to support whatever team is doing very well at the time! Expected that you would not like a true blue-collar team.

Since there bi week on week 9 they are .500 over the past 6 weeks, they prob will beat the bills (possibly) and they will lose to NE so over all the last 8 games they will probably go 4-4. Nice late season collapse, no one saw that coming.

Wow! What a performance by Eli Manning.
He did everything he possibly could and even more to teach the coaches that the Giants running game is the way to win!

I have never been so impressed with Eli as I am tonight. Eli played in such a way (and this cannot be disputed) that the Giants basically had 2 running backs go for 150 yards each!

Thank you Eli, thank you, thank you!
Coughlin and Gilbride are very very stupid, but they may have listened to the collective voice of Giant fans and found themselves heading to the playoffs.

There's almost no doubt now that the Patriots winning streak will be in jeapordy against the Giants backup players next wek.

another dismal win for the Giants who are only coming away with wins due to who they play. Giants win as carried by their running game and defense scoring points b/c Manning is not capable of getting it done. Once again Eli fumbles the ball to often and comes away from the game with 0 TD's and 2 INT's.

Giants have yet to beat a team this season with a winning record and their faults can only be masked for so long (Fact that Eli Manning is a hack at best second string QB). Round one of the playoffs for the Giants will show everyone who they really are. A team with a crappy coach who cant get wins late in the season against quality teams and also a team with a QB that no matter how hard the media trys to make him out to be like his brother but will in fact never be a good QB In the NFL stats wise or by championships won and is nothing close to a team leader. I give the giants credit for winning the games they needed to in order to make the playoffs yet it was all against teams with losing records. Guess they are lucky they play in the NFC.

Indianapolis is a small market as well so is Green Bay, etc. This isnt baseball, any team with good people from owners down to coaches has a shot.

Are you like this in real lfe? I doubt it, but you are the biggest internet tough guy here because you follow a winning team.

There is an old saying, you can tell the charachter of a person on how they act at the top and how they act at the bottom. I think its pretty obvious we can make an assumption about you.

Really? Ive got an opinion on you as well but I dont feel like being banned today so I'll keep it to myself. Regardless of how I am in real life or on here whats it matter? I dont act like a tough guy just b/c Im a fan of a winning team, your just acting like a cry baby b/c Im a supporter of a winning team. So you think Eli is some big hero and you think the Giants are going deep in the playoffs? I doubt it but just seems to me like you use any post I make against any other team as an excuse to try and knock me down while buiding yourself up. You know kinda like standing next to fatter people so you dont seem so fat......kinda like that

I think it's pretty clear that redline does not like eli manning.. it does not matter what team he supports what he said about who the giants beat this year is right.. They have not won a game against a winning team..

Now about Eli..

I don't want to start a fight with the giants fans but I am going to call it as I see it.

I am not sold on this guy... I do not see him ever getting to the level of his brother not even close in fact, In fact I think he is David Carr or Joey Harrington with a brother who is a all time great.. The giants would be better off in the short term bringing Warner back.

I could be wrong but I think the Giants got a bust in eli...

There is no doubt that you are the biggest douche bag on this site!
You don't even know squat about your own team, let alone the Giants. The Giants beat several teams with winning records this year. You do the look ups, douche bag.

OK for the dim witted Redline whos team plays in perhaps the worst NFL division getting 6 gimmies, here's a few facts:
Giants over Skins when Skins were 2-0, then Giants over Lions when hey were 6-3.
Pats had what amounts to the 23rd hardest sched, while the Giants faced the 14the most difficult.

Have an adult read it to you and explain it.

I consider a quality team a team that is over 500 at the end of the year..

go check out

www.coldhardfootballfacts.com and check out the quality stats section..

The reason to consider it at the end of the year or in this case surrent records is any bad team can be 2-0 early in the year.. Look at the ravens as a perfect example of bad team that started hot.

the giants hve beat only one team this season that is currently over .500 here is the numbers against quality teams for the giants this year

N.Y. Giants (10-5) 1 5 19.8 PF 31.8 PA that is not good.. Plus the only team over .500 currently they beat is the redskins who are only 2-5 against quality teams.

The patriots are (15-0) 6 0 38.3 PF 16.3 PA against quality teams.. they beat the steelers, the colts, the cowboys and the chargers... All except the colts game was a blow out... So the patriots have played the IRON of the NFl and beat all and dominated most.. Sure they have had games against bad teams like the jets and the dolphins.. But they murdered the only possible playoff team your team beat and they had to play the leagues best teams.

Now anything can happen next saturday but one thing is clear the patriots have beaten much better teams. Articles like the one you pointed out is why i don't take the hacks in the mainstream media seriously..

I know the Patriots are 15-0 and the Giants SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!So bite me.

Look at the records of the teams the giants beat/lost to compared to all the teams the Patriots beat. When did the Giants play the likes of the Chargers, Cowboys, Indy and came away with a win? SO what the Patriots division sucks, the entire NFC sucks so thats the only reason the Giants are going to the post season. Put them in the AFC and they would be about as good as the Jets. Keep your trash talking, will be that much more humorous when the giants get blown out in the very near future, as in next week and round 1.

Whats with all the insults and name calling? Have to resort to that b/c your just blind and cant face the fact that your team sucks and its to hard to admit it, or is your intelligence really that low?

1. You were totally WRONG about the Giants not beating a team with a winning record.
2. Your claim the Giants STINK/Suck proves again your football knowledge is poor.

As stated in the post above yours, a team that finishes 8-8 has done OK. A team that finishes with a better record than that has done well. Sure, the Giants have their troubles, hell 31 teams in the NFL have some problems.

And again, the Giants strength of schedule was tougher by a good margin than your Pats this year.
