Forgot to post in the sports area. After 2 weeks of horrible pansy defense, the tinkerbells actually decided to play today! What a surprise. So the Giants ended up beating the lowly skins in their own house. It was very sweet.

Just thought I'd share.

I don't know what game you were watching, but the Giants just got better push on the line and defenders and brought the game home for them. The skins couldn't stop Ward on the ground yesterday and the secondary had its hands full with Plaxco Burress and Shocky.

On the defensive side, the Giants let a few go early, but tightened up and came up with some big stops and turnovers that allowed the Giants to win the game. Also, when the skins failed to drive the ball into the endzone at the end of the game, the crowd, time pressure and Giants defense all played a role to the big stop that allowed the Giants to clench the win.

Next week, we are going to make McNabb cry as he gets booed by the fans because he is Black.

Go GIANTS!!

The game I was watching showed the skins ahead by 14 points at the half, and the Giants had been held to a field goal. The game I was watching also showed some of the most bizarre second half play calling by Washington. Bombs down the field that hadn't worked all game on first down which then required more bombs down the field that (go figure) didn't work. They completely abandoned the run until they looked like they might score, and then Portis fumbled. It was embarassing. Maybe the Giants deserve credit. Not trying to take that away. But Washinton didn't put up much of a fight. It looked like the teams switched uniforms at half time.

And by the way, I know it's been said before, but your avatar freaks me out reeeal bad.

And now there's another. What's your point? Did the Pats cheat again today?

Ok I saw giants in the title and missed this thread.. One bad team beating another bad team did not get me excited to come take a look for some reason. Well the only reason I posted is to ask whats with the patriot hate. Just because your team is not getting the job done you don't have to hate our team Just join us and you too can win! See no need for hating with talk about cheating or anyother BS excuse for why our team OWNS and yours does not.

There is pleanty of seats on the pats bandwagon for you fans of lesser teams if you want to watch a good team, we real fans who have been around since the pre brady/belichick days will even pretend to respect you.

Don't hate just join in on the fun!!!

If you get 90% of peyton in Eli then you will be ok. After this year when you guys get rid of choughlin you will be better off.

quite honestly, I dont think Eli will ever be 90% of Peyton.... However hopefully he will be 100% of Eli.. thats all i can ask..

Coughlin should have been kicked this year... not a fan of him at all...

I like Coughlin a lot and think that injuries and jackoff players have harmed the team more than anything else. Even with all the problems they did make the playoffs 2 years in a row. I can't remember the last time that happened.

Pat fans line the Redline guy generaly did not know there was a pro football team in the New England area until the end of the 2001 season. That is a known fact.

Cowpoke fans wear the weird reversable jersey that has the Cowboys on one side and last years Superbowl winner on the other side.

Since TiVi Barbar decided to be a dick on National TV, I have retired a jersey I have of his. I went on Ebay last week and won a nice new Eli jersey for $25 + s&h. Got it for about $34. It doesn't have the hand sewn letters but I don't care. It's official NFL gear and at size XXL, it fits.

Eli has been playing alot better this year. I'm glad all the dropped passes haven't gotten him down.

I hope Shockey learns to catch 1/2 as good as Witten.

Oh, BTW. ANy Eagle fans? I bet my co-worker $5 on Sunday night's game. Hopefully the Giants win this one. So far they are 1-1 in the division. Which defense will show up?

0Anyone here one of the 6.7 million NFL fans that tuned in for Sunday Night Football? If so, you got to see history in the making!

The Giants defense came alive last week in DC beating the (then unbeaten) Foreskins.

This week, Osi Umenyiora sacked McNabb 6 times and the rest of the Giants defense added another 6 sacks for a defensive pasting of the poor Eagles.

Madden comented that it was "the best defensive line performance he'd ever seen".

I personally have not seen anything quite like that either. Looking back at the 2000 Ravens and the '85 Bears, they both wrecked havoc on QB's.
However, last night McNabb had to run for his life on alomst every passing down. It was a lot of fun to watch unless you are an Eagles fan.

The Giants defense will probably make Chad Pennington cry lke Tomlinson next week.

Careful for the SN rules on pics displaying graphic violence. No picks of McNabb from the 3rd quarter on.
