that's my buddy...he was there with us.

Actually, he's an Notre Dame alumnus...so he was representing. He's a HUGE giants fan but didn't have a jersey.

His response was "It's easy to stand by your team when they're winning, it shows you're a true fan when you stick with them during the bad times"....something us Giants fans know all too well

so.. she doesn't like there "attitiude's" She's born and raised a Giant fan. If you dont like them good chances you'll never get near her.. Certain teams she will consider, (NE is a team she would probably laugh in your face and walk away )

Aint that the truth. I wore my Giants gear a few years ago when they had a horrible season and Fassel got the axe. I can tell by some peoples attitudes that they are fair-weather fans. For example, Redline is the type of poster that would never be seen in a football thread if the Pats had a bad year. You can easily seperate them by judging them a few ways.

Anyway, the Giants have now won 3 in a row.!

I feel a bit for the Jet fans. They knew going into this game that a loss again when they are 1-3 would sink their ship. The Jets gave 110%. They did very well in the 1st half, shutting Eli & his rcvrs down. Pennington was able to enjoy some time in the pocket even with Osi/Strahan/Tuck/Kiwi ready to wail him.

Question for the Jets now is, do you write of the 1-4 season basically and start the young QB? I think they should. Penn is very limited by what he can do. Maybe the kid can improve and take over.

For the Giants, they travel to Atlanta for the Monday Night Football game. It will be interesting to see who they start at QB without Vick around. I expect another nail biter and hope the Giants can make it 4 in a row.

Apparently you don't know what your talking about which is nothing new but Ive been posting in football threads since they started being made on stangnet regardless of how far the patriots did or didn't go. I like how you think you know how I would or wouldnt react to my team having a good season or not. Truth is they have not had a bad season starting from 2001. as far as you think you know what your talking about you wouldn't know that anyway since you where never a regular poster in any of the football threads. I still find it funny that you actually think the giants are going to go somewhere this year with that bum of a QB

Yea 4 in a row would be nice. My giants got off to a rough start, but if they come back and make it a good run, I will definately love the season. Now if only the Cowboys would lose all their games until the close of the season.

I would start the new QB since they are out of the runnings. That would be smart to give him experience and have it be a re-building year.

Eli is a joke hes never going to see a ring. Just another over hyped QB that will be nothing but a mediocre QB in the NFL. He will never achieve the status Payton has. Its wishful thinking but there will never be a Manning VS Manning Superbowl

Ok that was funny the first time.. but now it's not so you really need something new...

BTW I got you down as a saints fan but since they suck you said your really a dolphins fan but they suck too so now you sometimes roots for the steelers when all else fails????????

So when the steelers flatten out a bit are you going to be a Colts and sometimes dallas fan??? Please let me know so I can pin you down to a team.

Ooooohh...somebody a little touchy maybe?

I kind of like my * It's pretty and much easier to type than Tape-priots.

So for the last time. Dolphins fan first...if they suck then Saints fan second...if they suck then it's the Steelers. If they suck then I quit watching football and take up butt guitar.

Before you stroke out I'm just having fun with you guys. I do like the Pats when they are not playing the Phins. You have a couple of good former Tigers up there and I do follow up on them.

again his name is ELI not PEYTON,, therefore stop putting him on the same pedistal as Peyton.. Two different people, therefore they cannot be compaired.. I hate when people say "he'll never be like peyton" NO EFFIN CHIT RETARD he ISN'T PEYTON he's ELI...

when the giants played the colts last season it was a good game...

come back to us when you guys play and beat the colts, and play and beat dallas (However after last night, the pats COULD roll over dallas so we'll see!!)

ok.....

the rest of the schedule is do-able.. We have Atlanta, San Fran, and Miami before the bye.. i *think* we could win these and be 6-2 going into the bye.. After that though,, we have dallas... all bets are off haha.. Depends how the teams develop over the next couple of weeks
