Done. Been very busy at work. What a great game. Love to see the Jacobs & Ward & even Droughns smashing their way through dlines better than the Tiki.

Fun season ahead. With the Foreskins beneth the Giants in the standings, things are beginning to shape up to the way they should be!

Well, SF never had a chance. Giants retain & improve their league leading sack total to 27. Brandon Jacobs mowed people down all game. Shockey had a Bavarro moment when in the 3rd quarter, it took the 9ers 5 men to bring Shockey down after he caught a short pass and insisted on getting that 1st down!

Although the Colts and Pats have not lost a single game, the rapidly improving Giants have not lost since week 2.

Next week, the Giants will play in the very first NFL game in Europe that actually counts. Make sure you all tune in to watch history in the making at 1:00EDT next Sunday!

BOO-YEAH!!

Go Giants!!!!!! Although, a win over the 49ers really isn't anything to brag about, a win is a win!

At least they're not playing to the level of their opponents like previous years...they're actually beating the teams they should be beating & beating them by a lot.

And a win against the Falcons, jets, and eagles are? What about the good teams they have played, the Packers and the Cowboys? Oh yeah they lost to them

Yea but they just about beat the cowboys in week one, and since then the defense seems to be playing together as a unit... (about god damn time)

I think they could beat Dallas is they play them again before the bye....

After the bye, all bets are off lol

New England backs it up with having the most powerful offense in the NFL, they have scored almost 300 points so far this year. If the Giants were just as good and as well having a fluff schedule then they would be in the same situation but they are not. New England blows everyone out whether they are good or not. Giants have lost to 2 of the 3 teams with a +.500 record. That in its self says it all so dont even compare the Giants to the Patriots, if you are your living in a fantasy dream world

Where did I ever compare the Giants to the Patriots, all I said was the Patriots dont have any right to call anyones schedule easy.

Yes the patriots are scoring alot, but dont you think a little of that has to do with who they are playing? I mean seriously take off your NE binoculars and just look at it as it is.

They have played the 28th, 16th, 31st, 29th, 32nd, 7th (Dallas), and 27th teams in total defense. If you dont think that has anything to do with it youre crazy.

I am not saying NE isnt the best team in the NFL, but I am saying that imo they are not so far ahead of everyone else like some are making it out to seem like.

Its week 7 lets see how it goes the remaining 15 weeks before we crown them the OMG best team of all time.

+2. They play in the weakest division in the NFL (at least this year.) They will have a good game when they play the Colts soon.

No one is comparing the Giants to the Pats, dimwit. This is exactly what I meant by saying that anyone can tell by reading your posts that you are a Pats bandwagon fan. It's obvious you were never a Pats fan until they got good. You never suffered with them when they were stinky. Every time you post about football, you further my point.

lets take the Giants schedule now...

the have beaten teams with total defense ratings (from here: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/stats/2007/team_defense/0_byDFNS_YDS_PER_GAME.html)

washington: 5th
atlanta: 24th
eagles: 11th
49ers: 17th
jets: 28th

with losses to Dallas (#7) and GB (#15)

so, effectively, their offense has beaten better teams...

and BTW....I'm also getting sick of the "OMG Patriots = greatest team ever & Tom Brady is the classiest, best looking, most accurate, greatestquarterbackintheworld!@!!!!!!" posts....

EDIT: This is the freaking Giants thread anyway!!!! So we should be able to compare them to whoever the hell we want to!!!! If you don't like our "Giants are the best" thread; then get the hell out!!!!!!!!!!
