Looks like my Phins will be fighting for a No 1 draft pick next season.

As long as you win it don't matter. I will say that 52-7 when they took the regular offense out in the 4th quarter made it a snoozefest. WOW I wonder who is going to win this game. LOL

OHH this week it's the colts then it will be some other team

First it was the chargers game we will consider the pats tested then it was the cowboys and now it's the colts.

Must I remind you people that the pats are 4-0 this season against teams currently over .500 that is tops in the NFL.. the colts are second with a 3-0 record against teams currently over .500

^ dude they are both unbeaten.. who gives a chit if "this team is 3-0 over .500" bla bla bla....

It will be the superbowl next week.. 2 best teams in the NFL...

And regardless which team wins (colts or pats) they are still the 2 best teams in the NFL.. Both powerhouses, equal. If NE wins, that doesnt mean they are far superior, and it the colts win it doesnt mean they are far superior. I think the teams will split 9 times out of 10.

No one is comparing the Giants to the Pats, dimwit. This is exactly what I meant by saying that anyone can tell by reading your posts that you are a Pats bandwagon fan. It's obvious you were never a Pats fan until they got good. You never suffered with them when they were stinky. Every time you post about football, you further my point.

I remember the 1-15 seasons all to well. What proof do you have to back that statement up?...nothing..thats what I thought. I was in Jr High School at the time, sorry I wasn't posting here on stagnet

FYI

Eli Manning

8 for 22 for 59 yards, no TD's, no INT's and many passes thrown to high as usual with him.

Patriots blow the Dolphins out. Giants barley beat them and w/out Z.Thomas or w/ out R.Brown so whats that say for the Giants? At least the Patritos blow out the crap teams, Giants hang on by a thread.

The 5-0 Cowboys were not a good team? What was the result of that game? On yeah another blow out. +.500 team or not Patriots are blowing everyone out.

Expect the Giants down ward spiral soon or a first round playoff knock out. Eli is no team leader and on top of that his accuracy sucks.

did you watch the game and see the # of dropped passes...his accuracy was very good...people just weren't comming down with the ball...

i can't wait for the colts to beat the patriots sorry asses...especially with that fake spike bull**** they keep pulling....is it REALLY necessary to do that to a team that you're blowing out?

Like the one he over threw to the receiver in the back of the end zone standing there all alone by himself? Or was the rain excuse part of that one to?

Eli has a lot of bad passes good weather or not, was watching a game a few wks ago where he had receivers wide open and would over throw them. Like Ive said before, hes an avg QB in the NFL, good enough to be a starter but nothing special beyond that.

The overall record for teams Indy has played - 27 - 23
The overall record for teams NE has played - 24 - 34

With that being said the Colts have also played 5 of 7 against teams at .500 or better. The pats have played 4 of 8 against .500 or better.

If you take the records of all teams both NE and Indy have played and take out the loses to NE and Indy. The teams Indy has played are 27-16, if you do the same for NE their teams are still under .500 at 24 - 26.

Not to mention the Pats have played 3 teams that have fewer wins than any team Indy has played. The Colts havent played any team with under 3 wins, let alone any with 0 or 1 win (btw your divison teams Miami and Jets).

There is no logical way you can convince me that you think the two schedules are even remotely the same. Indy has had a much tougher schedule against better teams with better defenses.

The Colts also have to play San Diego in San Diego right after the New England game and after the Chargers have finally figured out that giving LT the ball helps them win, you played them game 2 after all the coaching staff changed and the team had not started playing. You cant tell me for 1 second that you dont believe the Chargers are better now than in week 2.

Just look at the last two and next two weeks for Indy.

Monday Night Football at divison foe 5 - 2 Jacksonville who is probably the 5th best team in the AFC.
Then on a short week travel to Carolina to play a then 4 - 2 Carolina team with a good D
Then New England at home
Then travel to San Diego to play the Chargers who is most likely the 3rd or 4th best team in the AFC.

NE does not have any stretch in their schedule even close to that tough.

I am not saying NE is not a great team because anyone with eye balls can see that. But the NE bandwagoning needs to stop. If they go 16-0 and win the super bowl then I will agree they were the best team ever, but give me a break the season is just now half over.

Douche bags are usually the bandwagoners. I'd bet 90% or more posters on Stangnet would agree that you are a douche bag and therefore the correct conclusion that you are/were a bandwagon fan. Like I said before, everytime you post, you drive that point home and for some reason, you continue to shore up that fact.

Make a poll and we will see, but I agree. I see the same thing here though. Anytime a team does well the fans come from everywhere. I see Colts liscense plates, shirts, hats, jerseys, etc all over. I live in the northern part of IN which has always been Bears territory until now its about 50/50.

I have been a die hard Colts fan since long before they drafted Manning. I go back to the times of Jim Harbaugh and when Marshall Faulk was young and good with Indy. I even remember the times of Jeff George

For a long time, I used to watch baseball and little football. When I was stationed in California, I used to see a few NY Giants games a year and began watching them much closer than most of my family would permit. You see, they are most unfortunatly Jet fans.

As my interest in football began to grow, I started to destest MLB and the freegin strikes and lack of parody between teams.

I became addicted to the Giants in 1993, the last year for Phil Simms and LT. Haven't missed an entire game since. I admit I did fall asleep during 1/2 time of the last game, a boring stinker.

Even if the Giants became very, very good, I would never go and sing their praises to fans of other teams. I would offer healthy debates, if they cared to on particular points. I don't feel comfortable poking fun at fans of struggling teams and ignore bandwagon fans of teams that are suddenly doing well.

You will find that long time fans who have been with a team through tough times become content in enjoying their team among like minded fans rather than taunting fans of teams not doing well.

I admit though I sometimes (jokingly) make fun of Lion & Cardnial fans who never seem to do well.

Do we change the title of the thread now to

"Dallas Bitch slaps the Giants 31-20"

Or how about "Eli chokes again in a 31-20 loss"

Or perhaps " We vow to beat at least 2 teams over .500 this year-Giants lose 31-20"
