LOL why do you hate the giants so much? Is it because of Eli

mrvax said:
They won and it was tough. Very difficult to win against a decent Lions team on the road and beat the refs too, but they did it.

Some sports writers are calling Tuck's BS "roughing the passer", the worst call of the season. The Toomer mugging in front of the ref where he tossed a flag and then picked it up is a close second. The Kitna fumble magically called an incomplete pass (arm not moving when hit) was just priceless.

It sucks when you have to beat the refs too. Me and redline are experts in this it makes you want to fly out to the game and beat the crap out of the refs.

When are you going to get your head examined? The Giants are a team that is slowly improving and trying to escape the injury curse of the last few years. No one expects them to win the SB this year.

In fact, all the so-called experts predicted them to finish last or next to last in the NFC East with no more than 6 wins. I knew they were stupid and wrong. They also claimed the loss of Tiki would end their good running game. They even went as far as to say that when the Giants released Petigout (who propmtly blew out his back with Tampa) they had no replacement at LOT. (Hello-David Deihl.)

Did you think the Giants were going to be great and now suddenly you realize that they are not as good as the Pats? Did someone tell you that or did you figure it out yourself?

Weird. Very weird. I think if you were an NFL fan for a few more years you would see the full life cycle of a team's rise & fall and learn to appreciate winning seasons.

AHHHHH don't talk about that.. I know it will happen someday but I don't want to go back to sucking again.

Enjoy a good season or a string of them, it does not last forever great players get old and retire and the replacements might not be as good.

I see them slowly improving each year. Dead wood had to go. We needed a year with a "normal" amount of starters on IR to compete. If they make the playoffs again, it will be great. Maybe this year they can win 1-2 games while there. Look at the poor Eagles. They were good from 2000-2006 with 1 down year when McNabb and crew were on IR. Now, they are in rapid decline and will really go through some rebuilding.

I know most of you don't want to hear from pats fans about rebuilding and such, but those upswings can come out of the blue..

Look how lucky we got. A 6th round pick turned this entire franchise around.. Back in 2000 I was convinced the pats were headed toward rebuilding and 1-15 land.. In fact I was so disgusted after the pats lost the first 2 games and bledsoe in 01 that I vowed never to watch another game because they suck so bad... LOL WOW was I WRONG!

I think this season could be bad for the lions in the long term. This will probably save millen's job and he is AWFUL he needs to go if detroit is going to build a serious contender.

I would not call the giants a rebuilding team, they will be a playoff team this year and they were in the playoff last year too. I think they need to make some key moves and have a little draft luck to get to the next level.

The eagles are most likely headed to 1-15 land soon.

LOL I hope so but with Jim Johnson & Andy Reid, they always seem to make the correct player/roster moves. They know exactly when a player should be waived or re-signed. They are experts with the cap. I think they will still be decent but their "window of opportunity" has slammed shut. So their Superbowl trophy case is lonely.

That window of opportunity slammed shut when the whole TO stuff happened.. I don't think you will have to worry about the eagles much at this point they seem to be headed in the other direction..

Well, there really isn't much to say about this stinker. Seems like everyone took the day off. Except the Vikings.

4 INT's by Eli on the leagues worst ranked pass defense, thats really sad.

Giants drop 2 out of the last 3 games and continue there always predictable late season collapse.

Actually Eli had 4 TD passes that game. It's just unfortunate that 3 went to the other team.

It wasn't pretty but Eli pulled his head out of his ass for 2 4th quarter TD drives to propel the Giants past the Bears in Chicago. Beating the Bears at home is tough.

Another 2 wins and the Giants may very well find themselves in the playoffs for the 3rd straight year!

Son, never let facts get in the way of a good story. "Giants Sneak by Sleeping Bears" doesn't have the same punch.

Tonight on MNF is a fair-weather fan's wet dream! An offensively challenged team goes head-to-head with the unbeaten Pats. I'm almost sure the Pats are going to pull off the improbable this year. We have seen very good teams get to 12,13 wins and get knocked off. Not gunna happen this year unless Brady gets inured.

Did you hear Ward broke his leg in the game yesterday. Sucks for him, he had a great game and for it to end that way is terrible.

I just read that before it was confirmed broken, Ward tried to get the coaches to let him back in! Jacobs is out still also. :>(
