I'm very impressed with Ward's play.. He will definatly be around for a while. Less games then Jacobs and more yardage. Who said we were dead when Tiki left He's a bastard now

Jacobs has played in 7 games, 115 attmps, 599 yds, 5.2 ypc
Ward has played in 8 games, 125 attmps, 602 yds, 4.8 ypc
----------------------------------------------------- 1201 yds, 5.0 ypc combo

Both very good. Good oline for running backs! Can't count them boys out.

It wasn't pretty, but then again, the Giants never win pretty. But they win.
In a tight game today, the Giants managed to hold back McNabb & Westbrook and hold on to SWEEP the series against the Eagles this year.

Dawkins had a monster game for the Eagles and probably saved 14 or more Giant points.

Jacobs has to work on stopping those fumbles.

Burress: the guy is simply amazing even on 1 good leg.

a win is a win and i'll take it!

if they were to finish out the season loosing the rest of thier games i'd still be happy. I bet they would go 8-8 this season

Yes, the Pats are very lucky to be at 13-0 but they have a good amount of talent also.

You didn't think the Pats were going to have a good year? What about when they signed Moss for a 5th round pick? I knew right then they would be very good.

As for the Giants: Almost every pundit had them last in the NFC East. Why? b/c TiVi Barber retired and they cut Pettigout. I knew Jacobs and Ward could run the ball. I didn't forsee Plax being gimpy/Steve Smith missing almost the whole season. In the end, they did very well so far this year given the circumstances.

Dallas surprised me. I didn't think Romo was going to be as good as he is. I had no idea Farve would have the year he is having either.

I don't know about that.. I mean we can all sit here an say how chitty eli is, and how his numbers suck, and how he has alot of INT's and how he has a low QB rating... BUT somehow he has managed to get the giants into the playoffs the 3 years he has been a starter from the beginning of the season, you cannot deny or knock that

He has to be the only QB with as numbers as low as his, to have brought a team to the playoffs so many times, and as won as much as he's won.

So i wouldn't call it luck, i dont know what to call it.

MRVAX im with ya, everyone thought gmen would be at the bottom, 8-8 at best, here they are at 9-4, with only one game they are really guaranteed to loose. thats the NE game..

Peyton and Tom Brady didnt take their teams to the playoffs their first 3 years. Eli is a good player he just needs more around him to be a 14-2 team.

when Jeff Hostetler took over for the injured Phill Simms, he won the final 2 regular season games, swept through the playoffs, and defeated the Bills in the Superbowl (all after only throwing 109 career passes before taking over for Simms)

Brady had won 2 superbowls by the end of his third season as a starter.. He spent one season that he did not play so I would not count that.

First year they won the superbowl.

second year they were 9-7 and missed the playoffs

third year they were 14-2 and won the SB

And Jeff Hostetler went on to have a brilliant HOF career just like brady..
