I need to ask your oppion on two things, and please be honest good or bad. #1. zex nitrous kit #2. patriot performance heads. Both of these look like good products and at a really great price. just wondering if it sounds to good to be true.

The patriot heads have a reputation for being junk, just like any of the other made-in-China cylinder heads out there.

from what I have read and heard patriot heads are not all that great w/o some work, so yeah they are to good to be true just like flo tek. The bottom of the bottom IMHO.

poor casting and port design. I also found some pics of the poor casting and design. ( these are freedom series SBF heads)

this is china quality at it's finest and flo teks are far behind. I have found more bad than good with all their heads, when that happens the red flag comes up. There are better heads out there both new and used.

I was at a car show last year and the patriot headsb they had on display were far superior to the tfw heads at the next booth. Not sure if they were putting "their best foot forward" but it was hard to deny that side by side the patriots were the better buy. OTOH there are dozens of threads on the net saying patriot is garbage.
