Glenn - A shot from Saturday

Thanks fellas, the prowler was sick, and so is the truck on premise (autobody shop held the show) I'll get a pic of that up later on.. If you look the prowler grill carries the air brush theme as well, so much detail in the little slats. You gotta wonder about the man hours and the cost..

Outstanding pics! Nice work you two have done on HEAVY's Stang!

I bet if an average Joe had to pay for that Prowler paint job it would be in the $10K+ range:shrug: Awesome detail work! I would personally be afraid to drive that on the street to get messed up and is why I would never have a paint job like that as I love to drive what I own. In the closeup pic of the headlights it makes it appear to be a living creature...

As shot of your ride from Saturday

Those shots are Incredible!!! That new 40D is nice! Even in low res those pictures just pop out at you...nice purchase. Heres a pic I took with My Sony Cybershot of our cars...it was a dusty day as we had to setup 15 yards from the train tracks...Hey Erin, no pics of the trains?

Highvolts - All of those were with my canon 24-70L and as heavy mentioned on my newly acquired 40D which is causing me a learning curve like no other camera I have owned. They moved some things around on the camera, which in time will become natural. Right now it's not natural at all because I haven't had any seat time and it requires me to think about what button is where when making adjustments. I will say they put them in perfect positions and they make sense, it's just very different from my XTI and 5D.

The saturation with which Heavy's car came out of the camera in it's raw state was incredible. That shot has only an adjustment in vignetting to assure his car remained the focal point which is sometimes hard with so many cars around in back grounds. Notice the ground reflection that was also picked up just behind the rear tire.. You can actually see the pebbles and gravel bits.

They look good though! I have a D40 (Nikon) with just a kit lens and man.. can you tell a diff with a better lens.. I knew that the pics were not with a kit lens.. IE: A 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G Nikon Equiv..

I noticed the reflections in the bumper and also the rocker panel as well:nice:
