As shot of your ride from Saturday
Highvolts - All of those were with my canon 24-70L and as heavy mentioned on my newly acquired 40D which is causing me a learning curve like no other camera I have owned. They moved some things around on the camera, which in time will become natural. Right now it's not natural at all because I haven't had any seat time and it requires me to think about what button is where when making adjustments. I will say they put them in perfect positions and they make sense, it's just very different from my XTI and 5D.
The saturation with which Heavy's car came out of the camera in it's raw state was incredible. That shot has only an adjustment in vignetting to assure his car remained the focal point which is sometimes hard with so many cars around in back grounds. Notice the ground reflection that was also picked up just behind the rear tire.. You can actually see the pebbles and gravel bits.
