Mustang Dynamometer and 5.0 Magazine have teamed up with Mustang Dyno operators all over North America to hold the first ever global Mustang Dyno Day. Owners of Ford Mustangs are invited to come to a participating shop in their area to have their car dyno tested and see how it stacks up with all the other Mustangs tested across North America on the same day.

Cars will be classed based on engine and power adders. Each class winner will be awarded a trophy and other prizes to be determined at a later date. Each participant will receive a Dyno-Day T-shirt for participating. Some winners may be featured in 5.0 Mustang and Superfords Magazine. All winners will be featured on 5.0 Mustang and Superfords Magazine’s website, the Dyno-Day website and Mustang Dynamometer’s website. A comprehensive list of results and awards will be featured on the Dyno-Day website. Participants will be given the opportunity to post photos of their vehicle to the website along with a description of their vehicle.

The Dyno Day event will be held on the weekend of October 14 and 15 2006, and the Alberta location is Tecmotion Chassis Dyno. More information is available at the official web site www.dyno-day.com , or for the Alberta location visit www.tecmotion.ca

There are also locations in Saskatchewan and BC!

The details for the Tecmotion location are on my web site - basically, just give me a call to get on the list. If you are looking for a location in Saskatchewan or BC, check the dyno-day.com web site - There is a shop locator there.

I think this should be a pretty fun event, and it will be interesting to see how our cars stack up against all of the US cars.

Damn it!! My car won't be tuned until the spring.

So not only have I missed an entire summer of driving but now all the fun stuff too.

Oh and it became official this week. My car has not been on the road for an entire year.

Hey Regina guys, we should find out about booking a time with Performance Plus's and make a road trip up there. I've been wanting to get my car dyno'd forever, (well 2 years...). What do you think?

Wrong.
There are 2 Matt's in Calgary tuning.

I might book back to back times for both of my cars. Would like to see how my 2V N/A motor stacks up to the 3V motor.

What sort of cost we looking at for this or is it covered? As well, the rules say they only want tests done in one gear, how are they doing automatics then?
