EDIT: yeah the GT500 is 3920 for the coupe. Vett is 3179.
my thoughts exactly. sell your msuatng then and hold onto your camaro. How much does the new zo6 cost? how much does the new gt500? i don't know about the zo6 but i am sure it is more than 41k795.0pacecar said:Its funny people bashing ford products here on a ford site. 90mustangGT said:It's not so much as Fords can or can't, but they just don't. The GT500 is still a Mustang when it comes down to it, and as a sports car, it doesn't compare to the Z06. So the GT500's motor lacks, power and poweband, in a heavy car. You'll need the pulley and a few other mods just to catch up. Ford is just trying to bring back old glory by digging up old car ideas, while GM is beyond that.

Well the offical price, not the dealer inflated price...
795.0pacecar said:The GT500 doesn't lack because it cant compare to a Z06 because its not supposed to be compared with the Z06. Can the Z06 haul 4 people? No. The Z06 = $80k, GT500=$45k.
Does the fact that these 2 cars are in differen't classes and are not meant to be direct competion for each other mean anything to you?
