I finally got EXHAUST! Offroad X-pipe with Dynomax Ultraflow Weldeds. Kept headers stock, as well as the tailpipes. Sounds absolutely amazing. I was all for the offroad H-pipe with flowmaster's, thats what I was planning to get, but I needed new exhaust badly (cats plugged) so I got what the muffler shop had in stock. I didn't want an offroad X-pipe but I had changed my mind on the exhaust 10 times over and thought what the hell. I expected my car to sound pretty high pitched, raspy, but V8-like. So I went and got my car and DAMN, SO NICE. It only snaps a bit at high RPM, but it sounds great. It isn't too loud at all, just right actually. The offroad pipe doesn't stink at all like I thought it would. The exhaust sounds really throaty, like a mix between flowmasters and magnapacks. Compared to how my car was acting up before with the plugged exhaust it made a HUGE difference. Hell I beat an older IROC Z tonight which I couldn't beat before. And my friend started the race, and claimed that flames shot out my exhaust pipes when I shifted?!?! Do they normally do that with an offroad pipe?
So to anyone doesn't think they want an X-pipe because they are too raspy, loud. Think again, b/c I did and im extremely happy I got the X w/ the Dynomax's. I've listened to so many sound clips of exhaust, changed my mind a dozen times. This by far sounds the best of them all, but then again maybe it sounds that good because its actually on my car
