OK, so I can not figure out for the life of me whats going on with my 92gt.. wasd riving fien. came out and cranked it in the morning, started out idling rough and would cut off. I would feather it to get a rpm up, would idle rough to 400-600 rpms.then when driving it would sputter bad and i couldnt accelerate at all. so I replaced the idle air, maf,tps,plugs.. I did replace the plugs and headers to long tube, I have to put the 02 in this weekend. my issue now is that when I hook the maf up, it will idle ok but I cant drive it. when I acclerate it will do ok to 2800 rpms, then just cut out like theres no power. when I let off the gas it will idle back to around 8-900rpms. so i am driving it around wiithout the maf hooked up..burning gas like crazy and still just isnt right..I had all factory parts when tis first happened. replaced the plugs and idle air and maf..figured I may as well put the headers on since i am working on it. i have no vauum leaks, fixed the ones it had.
so now I drive around with out the maf, it doesnt drive to great. every now and then it will cut off when slowing to a stop or at a stop.. any ideas where to go next or what to look for,I havent checked the egr yet.. it did throw codes-081/083/066/063.. when I replaced all the arts and hooked maf up it went off. but i cant drive it with the maf hooked up so check light is on?
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT...

Disconnect the battery and turn on the headlights, turn off the headlights & reconnect the battery. This clears any stored codes in the computer. Run the car for a while and dump the codes again. Post whaterver codes you get.

Have you changed your fuel filter? Looked for vacuum leaks? These two things could account for some of your trouble.

Pull the codes and see what they say. I had a terrible vacuum leak, that didn't show up until I put new o2 sensors in mine last year. Which was discovered through pulling the codes.

I don't have the 02 in right now.just put headers on and have to drill the holes then put them in.but 02 shouldn't have anything to.do with the maf sensor right..

Not having o2's in it could be a real problem unless you are running a QH or TweeCer and have turned them off.

I am replacing them this sat. I have to drill out the hole in the new header for them. I didnt think the 02's would affect the car this bad. they usaully just throw a cel, right?? the only thing i can think of next is a new coil and injectors

Without o2's the ECU has no idea how to trim out the fuel maps and will revert to preset trims. Get the o2 installed and reset the ECU before you throw anymore parts at it.
