I'd like to use braided lines from the hardline coming into the engine bay. What type of adapters do I need in order to do this? I assume the lines are different, with the incoming fuel line being the bigger of the two. They guy that previously installed the braided lines did a half-assed solution (worm-drive clamp over the hardline with braided line) and I fear that it's a crappy seal and sometimes I can smell gas.

If you guys can tell me what part number to use I'd appreciate that.

Thanks!

here r your part #'s
RUS-640870 -6an
RUS-640880 -8an
both are 13.95 out of summit racing, the -8 is the feed and the -6 is the return. these adapters allow u to use the stock rails when using bigger braided line. i used them and they worked great, i ran the feed line from the filter right to the rail and the return from the rail to right where it goes into the tank.

Those are for braided lines to stock rails. He needs stock lines to braided lines.

aeromotive makes them.

part 15101 and 15102. It will cost about $100 for the pair.

unless your changing the whole fuel system, (tank, external pump, different rails, etc.) why would u make stock lines into braided lines? i'm not really understanding. if the prior owner did a half ass job u might as well rip everything out and start new and fresh.

You make a decent point. I have considered doing that, ripping out the hardlines and just going braided all the way from the tank and back. Any ideas on how much hose I'll need?

Thanks

As for using braided to hardline, the guy lost my original hoses so he decided to use braided ones to the hardline but again used a half assed approach. I do have the russell adapters already on the factory fuel rail.
