Alright guys I already have the BBK Shorty headers for my 95 Sitting in the garage..Well I just did my taxes and I have $2,000 to spend...
My shocks are blown.
My tires are bald.
My mid pipe is trashed.
I need a bumpsteer kit.
My clutch is trashed.
I thin I need new dampners too..
I have 2 grand.. P L E A SE help me spend it wisely and help me get my $$ worth while getting my car fixed with good parts..
Ive always turned to you guys..I appreciate all your input.
ps...Dont be hesitant because Im probably going to start buying parts tomorrow..

I think if we knew a bit more on what mods you currently have and what you're looking to do we could help more. Are you looking to spend all $2k, spend as little as possible, spend $1,500? Are you looking to take some nice curves with some speed? MAC makes a good h pipe and prochamber, there are a lot of options out there for a mid. Are you looking to heavily mod in the future, is this your daily driver, weekend cruiser? If you aren't looking to go crazy in power I'd say go for a King Cobra, lots of people use them and seem to have good results without too much cost.

Give me some more info and I'll hit you with some parts

Ive got the Eibach sportline springs on it...ford racing 3.73 Gears, K&N Intake..
All the parts ive mentioned need to be replaced..I would spend the whole 2K...
Its a daily driver..
I heard that MAC makes good exhaust stuff..Its what I had on my 94 GT....
I think I need a new drivehsaft too

Kris, my off the cuff thoughts, with emphasis on bang for the buck:

HP's would be my choice for bargain dampers (I run 'em with a Prokit and am very happy).

Tires: I'm shopping myself and need to search about what to get and from whom. I seem to recall folks running cheap Summitomos. I was researching stuff and choked on vomit when I saw the Out the door price for a couple of 245/45/17's from a large national retailer.

I had decent luck with a Summit O/R and the price was right. If you see lots of rain, you might want something heavier duty.

A KC kit would probably work well clutchwise.

I can't help with the bumpsteer stuff, other than saying that MM 4 bolt plates are ubiquitiously loved. I have some 4 bolts waiting to go on myself.

Take a little time, let the money just TRY to burn a hole in your pocket. Figure out what you REALLY want, then hunt around for the best prices to get them. Call up Summit and have them price match everything they can. Pay ONE fee for the whole lot, and save even more by not paying shipping 8 times.

If anyone needs a great Rep. Call ext. 5842 and talk to Gage at Summit. Even though he's an... gulp.... F-body owner. He knows a lot about mustangs and he likes to price match things.

If All my shocks and struts are blown, What exactly do I need??
Dont I hvae two struts in the front and two shocks in the back??

Correct two struts in the front, two shocks in the rear.

Which ones? Depends on what you want to do with the car. I chose the strange 10-way adjustable route. I only have the shocks right now. But plan to add the struts down the road. I race a lot, but also drive the car alot. Adjustable sounded like the best solution for my needs.

i dont know about bumpsteer kits, and i dont know your future plans. but as long as you arent going crazy with power, or going for crazy times... i would say KC clutch and BFG G-force sport tires have been great buys for me... i got my tires from tire warehouse who price-matched tire-rack .com for 105 a piece 255-45 ZR17's... i think they had 16" tires for around 90 a piece, and had even 18's for under 150; plus tirerack rated them in the top 5 for extreme performance summer tires at the time i bought them. Also, mac makes a good h-pipe. it is now HTS coated, and pretty beefy so it should last you a while. plus i got mine (off-road, so it wont pass emmissions)for around $120. you can probably get away with just resurfacing the flywheel instead of buying a new one to save some cash, and i dont know what to tell you about shocks. The Tokico HP's are a great buy for the price. Since you are lowered you can go with the Fox stuff (struts are 1" shorter, shocks are prety much the same), and you should be able to find a full set (front and back) for around $300 or less.

You should be able to get all the stuff you mentioned and if you do the install, you should come under $2,000. Leave the bumpsteer stuff for later AFTER you get a good alignment. Maybe you need it, maybe not, but the alignment will give it away.

Using your list:

My shocks are blown...........Online with free shipping, get a kit (maybe $350.00)
My tires are bald...........Tire Rack (maybe $450.00)
My mid pipe is trashed...........no emissions check, then off-road ($350.00)
I need a bumpsteer kit............wait for alignment
My clutch is trashed...........probably could get a kit with install at local shop ($500.00)
I thin I need new dampners too.......don't know.

FRPP driveshafts are about $250.

I've got Mustangs Unlimited, Summit, Dugan Racing, and Year One locally, so I rarely pay for shipping unless it's Maximum Motorsports. If you've got shops local, go that route for sure.

sounds like your car has seen better days...are all of the things you mentioned really as bad as your making them seem or do you just want new stuff??

i think blowing all your cash quickly is a bad decison i would say step back look at your car from a drivablilty stand point and ask which parts do i need to get the car back to normal

I agree with trav_19........you might not be as bad off as you think or maybe its worse.

Suspension parts are always good, because it will make a bad ride much better. No sense in going for Bilsteins when HP shocks/struts work well for ride comfort. IF you've got stock shocks/struts or really old ones, that may be the first thing to do. If your tires are bad, get that fixed. Tires could improve your ride big time if they're really bald.

Get subframe connectors for about $100 if you don't already have them. This is mandatory unless you just gotta have side exhaust.

Something that has helped me more than anything has been looking at past threads about mods that people regretted the most. Did the same search on Corral and the lists were about the same. Interstingly, threads about favorite mods included many of the items I've done or similar.

Take it slow, because fixing one problem may actually resolve other issues.
