I'm new to this forum. I know there are alot of haters around but I'd like to have some advise on body kits. I have a 96 vert GT. The original owners put a Cobra front on it. It is not a Cobra and I would like to have something different. My question is what body kits are good and fit well. Urethane is my first pick but which one or company? Any feedback will be great.
Thanks

The Saleen pieces are the only body kit parts that I like.

My $.02.

the 94-98 Saleen look is dead sexy...if you want to replace the Cobra bumper I'd definitely say go with a Saleen style body kit...

leave the cobra front bumper on there and finish the rest with the roush body kit if its still available. as long as you dont go putting cobra badging on the quarter panels, and svt on the back decklid then dont worry about it having the front cobra bumper.

No you don't want something different... different isn't good.

Go with a Roush or Saleen kit, or just leave the Cobra front bumper on there. Cobra bumper > Saleen bumper anyways.

FWIW, here's something different:

different /= cool

compared to a Saleen kit

I'm looking for the Saleen kit. Saleen doesn't sell our year kit anymore. And I really need to find the Saleen "Heat Extractor" hood WITH the "nostrils"!!

For Mustangs, Saleen and maybe Roush, that's about it. I would just keep the Cobra bumper.

I had a Cobra front bumper on my '95 GT. As long as you don't put Cobra badges or anything that says Cobra on it, you're good. In my opinion at least...

I've always loved the SN95 Saleen kits, but I don't care for the wing.
